I'm Mia Jun, a California REALTOR® with SERHANT., based in Irvine, Orange County.

But before becoming a real estate agent, I was a writer, a first-generation immigrant from Korea, and a mother navigating an entirely new life in America.

I know that moving to a new country—or even choosing a new neighborhood—is about so much more than finding a house.

It's about where your children will grow up, what schools they'll attend, the community you'll become part of, and the life you hope to build.

Having raised my children in Irvine, worked in the Irvine Unified School District, and experienced the immigration journey firsthand, I've learned that the most valuable information often comes from someone who has actually lived through it.

That's why I created this journal.

Here, I'll share my perspective on Irvine real estate, Southern California neighborhoods, American education, immigration, and everyday life in the United States.

Some stories will be practical. Others will be personal. But all will come from my genuine experiences, observations, and curiosity.

I don't just introduce homes. I tell the stories of the lives that can unfold within them.

집을 넘어, 삶을 이야기합니다.

안녕하세요. 얼바인에서 활동하는 SERHANT. 소속 리얼터 미아 전입니다.

하지만 리얼터이기 전에 저는 글을 쓰는 사람이었고, 한국에서 미국으로 이주한 1세대 이민자이며, 낯선 나라에서 아이들을 키워온 엄마이기도 합니다.

저는 집을 선택한다는 것이 단순히 부동산을 구매하는 일이 아니라고 생각합니다.

우리 아이들이 어느 학교에 다닐지, 어떤 이웃과 살아갈지, 앞으로 어떤 일상을 만들어갈지 선택하는 일이기도 하니까요.

저 역시 한국에서 미국으로 이주하는 과정을 겪었고, 얼바인에서 아이들을 키웠으며, 얼바인 교육구에서 일한 경험도 있습니다.

그 과정에서 깨달은 것이 있습니다. 때로는 실제로 그 길을 걸어본 사람의 경험이 가장 유용한 정보가 된다는 사실입니다.

그래서 이 공간을 만들었습니다.

얼바인의 부동산과 지역 이야기, 미국 학교와 교육, 이민과 정착, 그리고 캘리포니아에서 살아가며 보고 느낀 것들을 나누려고 합니다.

어떤 글은 실용적인 정보가 될 것이고, 어떤 글은 지극히 개인적인 이야기가 될 것입니다.

하지만 한 가지는 약속할 수 있습니다. 제가 직접 경험하고 관찰하고 고민한 것들을 제 목소리로 솔직하게 전하겠습니다.

저는 집만 소개하지 않습니다. 그 집에서 펼쳐질 삶의 이야기를 함께 전합니다.
